What We Study
The LETR Lab explores the cognitive, linguistic, and motivational processes that underlie learning across diverse contexts and populations.
How does reading format — print, digital screen, or audio — shape comprehension? We examine the cognitive and metacognitive processes behind format-based differences in learning.
Why do people hold — and sometimes update — beliefs about controversial scientific topics? We study knowledge revision, argumentation, and how emotions interact with evidence evaluation.
Funded by an APF Grant, this project investigates the mental health and well-being of early career academics, examining systemic and individual factors that shape their experiences.
