Current Focus
Two new projects are launching in the coming year, bringing together reading science, computer vision, and educational technology.
Using eye-tracking methodology to examine how readers process text across different formats and conditions. This project investigates the moment-by-moment cognitive processes underlying reading comprehension.
An interdisciplinary project in collaboration with Dr. Sanchita Ghose (Computer Science) developing a platform to understand student engagement and emotion in educational settings through attention analytics.
